Penelope Kokkinides

Penelope Kokkinides is the current Chief Administrative Officer of the Innovacare Health Center. Earlier on, Kokkinides had serviced the health center as the Chief Operating Officer and also as the vice president of clinical operations.

 

She is a graduate of Binghamton University where she received a degree in biological sciences and even classical languages. She received her master’s degree in social work from the University of New York.

 

Moreover, Penelope also received a post master’s program advanced degree in alcohol and substance abuse from the University of Columbia. Penelope too was granted a master’s degree in public health from the same institution.

 

Penelope Kokkinides rejoined the health center on June in the year 2015. She boasts of more than twenty years of experience in healthcare. In her experience, she had majored on working in the government programs like the Medicaid and the Medicare.

 

Penelope has broad knowledge and expertise in carrying out several processes. She is broadly knowledgeable in managing healthcare processes and operations and developing clinical programs. All her expertise focuses on advancing the efficiencies and organizational infrastructure.

 

Before joining the Innovacare firm, Penelope Kokkinides worked as the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Vice President of Centerlight Health Care. In this firm, Penelope had a role overall management and strategic direction of the managed care division.

 

Penelope Kokkinides also served as the corporate vice president for care management and disease management at Americhoice. Additionally, she serviced the Touchstone Health as their Chief Operating Officer.

 

Working at Americhoice Company, she played a significant role in implementing and developing the company’s health model. According to Penelope, for one to be successful, a great and performing team should be his company.

 

As an entrepreneur, one needs to spare some time at night focusing on the next day’s program. It is also paramount to focus on what needs to be done first and even new methods to bring about development and advancement of the business.

 

A good entrepreneur should always take time to be briefed on the happenings in the industry. One can do this by taking time to read journals, articles, books, publications, and researchers. During her meeting with the president-elect Donald Trump, Penelope cited issues that needed to be given priority.

 

She talked about the importance of increasing the funding towards Medicare in Puerto Rico. She clarified that the cuts towards federal funding in the region had drastically dropped by $1 billion. According to Kokkinides, this figure does not match cuts in the States.

 

She concluded that the fixation of the cuts would be paramount to help the ordinary people.
